Registered Clinical Counsellor, BCACC

Accepting new clients

My practice is rooted in curiosity, humility, and the understanding that there is always more to discover about what it means to be human. Alongside the wisdom my clients bring into the therapy room, I continue to deepen my learning through formal training, supervision, and lived experience.

My therapeutic approach draws from attachment theory, Emotion-Focused Therapy, relational therapy, somatic approaches, mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, coaching, and EMDR. Every session is grounded in trauma-informed practice and adapted to your unique needs, pace, and goals.

I believe healing is less about becoming someone new and more about remembering who you have always been.

Much of my work is helping people gently untangle the stories, expectations, and survival strategies that once protected them but no longer serve them. Together, we make space to reconnect with your emotions, your body, your longing, and the parts of yourself that may have been buried beneath years of striving, caregiving, perfectionism, or simply getting through.

My work is deeply informed by a systems lens. I recognize that our struggles do not arise in isolation but within cultures and systems that shape how we move through the world. Capitalism, patriarchy, colonization, ableism, and other forms of oppression influence our nervous systems, relationships, and sense of self.

Education & training

  • Registered Clinical Counsellor, BCACC

  • Masters of Counselling Psychology, UVic

  • Bachelor of Science in Biology & Environmental Studies, UVic

  • Girls Group Facilitation Training, Pathways to Womanhood

  • EMDR Certification, Sue Genest

  • Suicide Intervention Training, ASIST

I believe good therapists never stop learning.

Before opening my private practice, I worked in a range of community mental health settings - from supporting unhoused individuals navigating trauma, addiction, and reintegration after incarceration, to working alongside children and teens experiencing anxiety and emotional challenges. These experiences strengthened my belief that every person's story deserves compassion, dignity, and context, and continue to shape the way I hold space today.

origins & inspirations

While my work in the world is deeply important to me, the identity I hold most dear in this season of my life is that of mother.

Becoming a mama to my daughter has transformed both my life and my work. It has deepened my capacity for tenderness, patience, and reverence for the many seasons we move through as humans.

I also facilitate Girls Groups here on island, creating spaces where girls can gather in community, connect with nature, explore creativity, and navigate the beautiful and often challenging transition into adolescence.

I live and work on the unceded ancestral lands of the SENĆOŦEN- and Hul'q'umi'num speaking Peoples on Salt Spring Island. I am a woman of Polish, Ukrainian, and German ancestry, and the daughter of first-generation immigrants to Canada. My own family story, together with my commitment to anti-oppressive practice, continues to shape how I understand belonging, privilege, responsibility, and relationship.

I strive to practice with humility, recognizing that healing is both deeply personal and profoundly collective. My hope is to offer spaces where people feel safe enough to become more fully themselves while remaining connected to the communities, relationships, and living world that sustain us.
